The purpose and mission of VIEWS is to provide a forum to enhance the level
of SAS software skills in the United Kingdom by the following means:
- Acquiring and disseminating knowledge and experience of SAS software usage
- Actively seeking to transfer knowledge from experienced SAS software
practitioners to those with less experience and knowledge
- Encouraging and expanding the SAS horizons of first time SAS users
(including students who use SAS software)
- Encouraging best practice amongst the UK SAS software community
- Encouraging a positive exchange of views on SAS software
- Encouraging and facilitating contact between fellow SAS software
practitioners
- Maintaining contact with the greatest number of SAS software practitioners
in the UK
